There are large open areas and the ‘Coach House’  that houses the ‘Barking Mad Cafe’ which supports ‘Friends of Royden Park’ and local Charities and a gallery .Roodee Mere is also situated at Royden Park and is fished by associatrion of wirral angling clubs.Thee is also a  and a miniature railway which is  run during the bank holidays by enthusiasts.
